We hope you never find yourself in a fire damage situation, but if ever you do, DCC can help ease the burden by walking with you every step of the way. There are many aspects of fire restoration; however, one of the most vital is negotiating with your insurance company to ensure your home is brought back to pre-loss conditions. It is not uncommon for adjusters to miss many small details during their inspections, resulting in thousands of dollars lost over a total claim. Our team can navigate communicating to the insurance company on your behalf to make certain each & every item is included to bring your home back to life. Additionally, one of the hardest items to remove in fire restoration is the lingering odor. Most construction companies underestimate how difficult smoke damage is to manage & remediate. At DCC, we have a combined 15 years of experience in dealing with smoke damage & odor remediation resulting from fire loss.

When dealing with water, time is of the essence. Water damage not only displaces you from your home, but can cause long-term damage, if not remediated quickly & correctly. Regardless of the initial size of a loss, damage typically continues due to moisture wicking into dry adjacent materials. Using the correct monitoring equipment, coupled with air movers & dehumidifiers, moisture can be removed in a safe, efficient manner, saving your home from extensive damage. After the water has been removed, many homeowners find themselves with some level of damage that needs to be reconstructed. Whatever situation you might be facing, DCC can manage all areas of water damage, including reconstruction. We also specialize in negotiating with your insurance company to make sure they assist you with all aspects of the reconstruction. A single team supporting you every step of the way means less stress!

Not only are we equipped to handle all your interior needs, but DCC is also a resource for all things exterior. From metal fencing to outdoor kitchens, decks, patios or pergolas, we’re here to help!

Mold can be pesky & you always want to leave it to the experts when remediating it. There are many precautions that need to be taken to ensure further contamination is not a possibility. When handled improperly, mold can cause a litany of health issues. The State of Texas has many rules & regulations for the mold remediation process, which we at DCC, follow for every project we complete. We understand this process can be intimidating. That’s why we take the time to thoroughly explain the steps that need to be followed to eliminate any & all health risk concerns. Containment, negative pressure machines, air scrubbers, detailed cleaning & PPE are just a few of the terms we will talk you through before & during your remediation project. Even if you are not sure you have a mold situation, please give us a call.

At DDC, we understand the stress & anxiety that can accompany an insurance claim repair. Often, insurance lingo can be confusing & lead to misinterpretations of coverages. Our team is well-versed in navigating a number of claims. We are dedicated to your needs & won’t hesitate to negotiate those needs on your behalf. Many times, insurance adjusters miss items that should be their responsibility to include in a loss. These items can add up to thousands of dollars in large claims. The team at DCC understands that every dollar counts when putting your home back together. We have years of experience communicating what is necessary to make sure you receive what is owed in any loss situation.

Sometimes pulling your vision together can be a challenge. Maybe you know what cabinet color & countertops you like but can’t decide what flooring & backsplash compliment them both. We can help! We will sit down with you to discuss your vision, finalize your design & product selections.

When we think about cabinet design, durability, longevity & functionality all come to mind. That’s why DCC’s Millworks Division specializes in European-style cabinets. What does that mean exactly? It means full use of the entire cabinet box equating to 30% more usable space compared to standard face frame cabinets (*cough, pre-fab). Also, no particle board here. All cabinets are dadoed (a dado joint is one of the strongest woodworking joints you can make) glued & screwed. Additionally, our team can assist with cabinet door fabrication, trim work & finish work.

At DCC our Millworks Division doesn’t shy away from unique or unusual projects. In fact, it’s fair to say, our Master Woodworker, Roy Strickland, welcomes the challenge. Amongst the local millworking vets/community, Roy has a reputation for bringing even the most “impossible” projects to life. Utilizing the same level of precision & technique as custom cabinets & fixtures, our team can assist you with design & construction of your custom residential & commercial furnishing needs.
